510. மதுப்ரீதா ( मधुप्रीता – மது/தேன் இவற்றில் விருப்புடையவள் )
மது என்னும் சொல் தேனையும் குறிக்கிறது. மது தந்திர சாதனையில் ஒரு முக்கிய வழிபாட்டுப் பொருள். இந்த உணவிலிருந்து கழிவு வெளிப்படுவதில்லை; உடலுக்குச் செழிப்பைத் தருகிறது. கள்ளை அளவோடு அருந்துபவர்களுக்கு உணவு நன்றாக செரிமானம் ஆகிறது. தந்திர ஸாதனத்தில் ஈடுபடுபவர்க்ள் மருந்தளவே கள்ளை உண்பதால் அவர்களுக்கு ஆழ்நிலைத் தியானம் கைகூடுகிறது. இந்த நாமத்தின் மூலம் உண்ணும் உணவை தேர்ந்து உண்பவர்கள் வாழ்வில் திண்ணியராகத் திகழ்வர்; எண்ணியாங்கு வாழ்வர் என்பதை அன்னை நமக்கு உணர்த்துகிறாள்.
மதுவெனும் தேனினை மாந்தியன்னைத் தேவி
குதுகலிப் பாளுள் குளிர்ந்து –அதன்வழியாய்
திண்ணிய ராய்த்திகழ தேவைநல் ஊட்டமெனும்
எண்ணம்சொல் நாமம் இது
